Today was a great day, I went to go and stuff a bus today, before I left, I sent an Avon order off. I called a friend earlier to ask her if she had anything to add to the Avon order. Then, we got into a long conversation, conversation are always so interesting when I talked to her. We talked about communist China, while we were talking politics. She talking about how China has done some of the most terrible things.
Does anyone think I’m wearing hair extensions, well I would like to but I’m not wearing them now. It’s real but permed, no big deal. You know my hair is not naturally straight. But the color of it is real, it’s definitely reddish golden brown, and it’s even prettier in the light. Also, she thinks it’s black, but does it really matter, maybe because the lights were dim. Oh well, it’s no big deal. She will see later when we go out in the sun. It’s just a characteristic that makes me unique. It’s not a big deal.
I’m usually more comfortable with my sister doing my hair, she’s licensed but she’s not doing anything with it. If I had her skills I will probably be in NYC, being a professional hairsylist for actresses and actors. But she keeps her license renewed. We were talking about using chemicals in you hair like dies and perms, well for mine the damage has already been done so I really don’t really worry about it much. I like it the way it is. It couldn’t be as bad as the food we eat. That reminds me I need to checkout that movie called “Food Inc.” and “The Corporation” I wonder do they have it on Netflix. Well, when we all go outside we’re all breathing in toxins from the air, so why bother. I’m not going to go around wearing a mask all day, and look like a germ fanatic.
I called Rob back today but didn’t get him, maybe I will try back tommorrow or Monday. He did send me an email, and I emailed him back. He one of the nicest people I have met in a while. I called today, but they were not available. I didn’t email the guy from space saving solutions back, but I need to ask him do they have anything part-time on the days I’m off. I don’t know why he wanted to know if I was married and had kids? I think I would be more comfortable with being friends rather than lovers or nothing at all. Thank John Mayer for making that song. We could definitely be friends, but he’s going to have to know I’m not like other friends.
I went to go and stuff a bus today, that was my main goal today, was to stuff and bus. But, I didn’t expect to meet the J.R. Berry from WLTX news 19 on CBS. This was the first time I have met him in-person, when he’s right over there in downtown Columbia, shame on me. I remember him coming over and shaking my hand. I told him it was nice to meet him in-person, because I’m always so use to watching him on TV. He told me he’s glad that I watch, and thanks for coming out. At the time I didn’t have my camera with me, and then my phone’s memory was full. But, I went ahead and got back in the van, just feeling a void, the void of not capturing that moment with a picture. So, I just ride off into the Walmart parking lot on my was to TLE. So, I just went around to the TLE side and asked them could they do an oil change. Well, Columbia is not really my favorite hangout, my Mom told me to stay away from Washington Street. After they put my information on the palm pilot or handheld device. I told them to let me know if the 2 front tires needed to be replaced. Then after that I walked back behind the scenes into the place I’m use to. It felt so weird being in there on my day off. So after that, I decided to sit on a bench besides one of the Cashier I work with. Then I sat there for about I would say it wasn’t more than 45 minutes until I heard my name on the intercom or loudspeaker. So, I rushed back thinking wow, these guys are quick. Then when I got back there they told me what was wrong, they replaced the filters. They said that I didn’t need any tires right now, and that there were too much air in the tires. I remember my brother had checked the tire pressure last month and put more air in them. So I paid, and it was about 40 dollars, more expensive than usually. They are not my original mechanic, he just moved his shop to his home, so we got to go and track him down next time. He does great work, I have never had any problems with them. I think he’s originally from New York, you can tell by his annoying accent, just a fun fact. So after I paid, I exited, now I’m back behind the scenes again, then as I walk steadily forward, I exit another passageway which leads out to the same place where I exited. So, after that I paced the parking lot, crossed, my car was parked over there in one of the empty parking spaces. So, after that I stayed in the car and erased more of my pictures so I could try to get a picture with the whole WLTX team. But, the only one I really could get a picture with was J.R., at the moment he was filming so I had to wait a few minutes until he finished. So, then next I approached him and asked could I get a picture, and he asked me where did I want to take it. So, we decided to take it in front of the bus. Then, after that it we reviewed the picture, and it didn’t turn out right. So, we took a second picture, which turned out better than the first one. Also, J.R. stated that, “It turned out better than the first one” After I got the picture, I thanked him.
My next stop was Books A Million, and guess who I ran into again, Steve Brown. Last time I didn’t buy one, but this time I was decided to purchase one because he was nice enough to come there and sign the books if you bought them. I had a hard time deciding. I finally decided on the “The Charleston Vampire” why am I so interested in vampires, probably because of the Twilight /New Moon Series. I told him that I like Twilight but I didn’t want to read the Twilight book, so I will try your vampire novel.
